Current Courses

Courses exploring Asia at Saint Mary's University can be found not only in the listing for the Asian Studies Program (ASNT) but also among the courses offered by the Departments of Anthropology (ANTH), Geography (GEOG), Global Development Studies (GDST), History (HIST), Languages and Cultures (ARBC, CHNS, JPNS), and Religious Studies (RELS). (A list of all of the Asian Studies "core courses" in the University Calendar can be found here.) In the past, Asia-related courses have also been offered by Economics, Political Science, and Sociology, and potentially could be again. Students may petition the Asian Studies Program Coordinator regarding courses not listed here in order to earn credit in Asian Studies and related programs.
